Do I need to know how to swim?
Absolutely not! You only need to be able to walk. You breathe as if you were on land, head dry inside the helmet.
What are the minimum and maximum ages?
The minimum age is 6, and there is no maximum: you simply need to be able to walk.
How long does the activity last?
You spend 30 minutes in the water. The full activity takes about 2 hours, from pick-up at your accommodation to your return.
What should I bring?
Just your swimsuit (a rash guard if you like). Towel, drinks and snacks are provided. The platform is covered; if you use sunscreen, choose a biodegradable one to protect the lagoon.
Can I keep my glasses on?
Yes, no problem at all — contact lenses too. The helmets are large enough for glasses.
Are there any contraindications?
None: you just need to be able to walk. The state-qualified guides run and secure the activity.
What will I see underwater?
A coral garden full of fish: butterflyfish, flutemouths, triggerfish, damselfish, the famous clownfish in its anemone… and very often a stingray circling around you.
Do I need special shoes?
No: the teams regularly “clean” the sandy bottom to remove pieces of dead coral.
Can I bring a waterproof camera?
Of course. Note that a photo package of your adventure will also be offered, so you can keep a memento of the experience.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes: no fees if you cancel more than 24 h ahead. For a private tour, the notice is 72 h.
